This project is structured to boost agricultural productivity and sustainability across the Shire Valley by enabling a shift from subsistence to commercial farming for smallholder farmers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify\">Under the SVTP Phase 1 area, 13 cooperatives operate as Smallholder-Owned Commercial Farm Enterprises (SOCFEs), representing over 19,800 smallholder farmers across 8,600 hectares of consolidated irrigated farmland. These cooperatives support sustainable commercial agriculture through advanced irrigation systems, land management, and market-driven agricultural practices. By moving to high-value crop production, these SOCFEs aim to improve food security, enhance income levels, and support local community development. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify\">One of the SOCFEs, Kambadwe Producers and Marketing Cooperative (Kambadwe Cooperative), is now seeking interested parties, such as Non-Government Organisations (NGOs), stakeholders or potential alliance partners, including Agribusiness Management Firms, Individual Farm Managers, Productive Partnerships or Productive Alliance (involving agro-processors), Financiers among others to develop &nbsp;a Definitive Business Plan (DBP), manage the implementation of the business plan, coordinate resource mobilization and infrastructure development, and drive profitable and sustainable agricultural operations.
